SEKIBUTSU (Dealer: titcoRet) – Massive and heavy Japanese stone carving Buddhist image called ‘Sekibutsu’ in aesthetically well-weathered condition, probably a ‘Jizo Bosatsu’ (Jizo Bodhisattva), with such faintly smiling face and the gassho pose. Edo period (1603-1868) at least or could be much earlier. approx. H 34cm (13.38in)
