Antique Japanese Seto tea jar with four ears (Dealer: misakadou) – Tea jar with four ears (shijiko), coated in such superb glaze expression. Early Edo period, pre-1800. Fired well as well. Scarce piece hardly seen. In fine antique condition, with expected inborn kiln-flaws and aged sign of use. approx. H 31.5cm (12.40in), D 25.5cm (10.03in)
