SMALL SHRINE AND FOUR SACRED TREASURES (Dealer: titcoRet) – Scarce original set of a unique formed wooden ‘Zushi’ (Household miniature Shinto shrine/altar) and its votive attachments (wooden tag, mallet, scroll, and sword) contained within its inside, Meiji period (1868-1912), Japan. approx. 285 x 260 x 240mm (11.22 x 10.23 x 9.44in). Probably derive from the shrine deeply related with Japanese mythology, because of ‘Kanayamahiko’ (as a god appered in Japanese mythology) written in Indian ink at the tag and sword. In original sooty condition as is, so that will stained when touch. One repair part with a new nail.
