DAIKOKU WITH SUTRA ON BACK (Dealer: titcoRet) – Unique old wood carving statue of ‘Daikoku’ (God of wealth) with the sutra (talisman) scribbled on the back, besides with inscribed face and ‘hoju’ (precious orb) in black ink, Edo period, 19th century, Japan, approx. H 18.5 x W 8 x D 5cm (7.28 x 3.14 x 1.96in). Aged deterioration as is.
