SWORD IN SHRINE (Dealer: Jinta) – A votive iron sword housed in a wooden zushi shrine. Japan, late Edo to early Meiji period (mid–late 19th century). Approx. 23 × 12.5 × 17 cm (9.1 × 4.9 × 6.7 in). In Japan, swords have long been regarded not merely as weapons but as objects of sacred presence—reflecting the close bond between faith and samurai culture. Condition as shown.
