TABI PAPER PATTERNS (Dealer: titcoRet) – Eleven three-piece sets and six individual pieces of both of thick (coated in ‘kakishibu’ persimmon tannin) and thin paper patterns of ‘tabi’ (Japanese socks) used by a tabi artisan in early 20th century, Japan. Some paper re-used for the mold are from Edo period (1603-1868). Large: approx. 28cm (11.02in). Some damage due to aging as is.
