TILE SHRINE (Dealer: Sezuan antiques & art) – ‘Hokora’ (Small shrine) made of tile specially seen in Okayama prefecture, Japan, worshiped ‘Kojin’ (lit. ‘Furious god’ / God of cooking stove) into and placed on the hill behind for looking out over the ancestral ground and house. Early 20th century. Chip at roof and some moss naturally attached with as is.
