ORIGATA (Dealer: titcoRet) – Showa period, 20th century, Japan. Wide range of various handmade samples of traditional Japanese folk origata (decorative folding papers for noshi gift wrapping paper for congratulatory life events), such as creatures like tortoise, crab, butterfly, etc. and diagrams and also salt shaker or powder container or so. Various size within palm size. Each finished piece with methodical instruction of how to fold, and its each paper pouch, made by Matsuko Honda as written. Some lack of pieces perhaps, though not sure. Slightly discolored due to age.
