MAN WITH NOSE MISSING (Dealer: titcoRet) – An old Japanese wooden mask depicting a male figure, possibly an oni (ogre) or tengu, traditionally used for dedication at shrines or as a talisman against evil. Said to have been passed down through an old family in Ishikawa Prefecture. Edo period (17th–19th century). Approx. 23 × 16 × 7 cm (9.1 × 6.3 × 2.8 in). Appears to have originally had a detachable nose, which is now missing. Age-related wear and deterioration are present. Condition as shown.
